Waiting List Validation

NHS Scotland Waiting List Validation

NHS Scotland has launched a new text message service to ensure our patient waiting lists are up to date.

This service will be delivered by the NHS Scotland National Elective Coordination Unit (NECU) in partnership with the digital solutions provider, DrDoctor.

Patients will receive a text message from the NHS Scotland National Elective Coordination Unit (NECU) on mobile number 07860 039092. Please note that we are unable to receive calls or messages to this number.

Please click on the first link in the text message to tell us if you still need your appointment and then provide the personal details when prompted. If you accidentally answer the question incorrectly, please email gjnh.necuadmin@gjnh.scot.nhs.uk

Please note that we cannot provide you with details of where you are on the waiting list or how long your wait may be. You can check average waiting times via NHS Inform: https://www.nhsinform.scot/waiting-times

Further information is available in our patient information leaflet.
