The group is multi-disciplinary, including Gynaecologists, Operational Managers and Nursing staff, with appropriate nominated representation from all regional NHS Boards.

Typical agendas focus on:

  • supporting adoption of proven processes, such as Active Clinical Referral Triage and discharge Patient Initiated Review,
  • developing national pathways for high volume conditions,
  • workforce,
  • innovation, and
  • measurement as a cross cutting theme to ensure the benefits are realised.
